RBPP Grow in a bag project
in partnership with the Rochdale Rotary Club

 

 

A new project to get local people to reuse their plastic carrier bags and grow their own greens has been launched by the Rochdale Bangladeshi Partnership Project in collaboration with the Rotary Club.


The Grow in a Bag project is an initiative led by the Rochdale Rotary Club which has been working on the concept for the last 12 months.

FOOD ACCESSIBILITY. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?

1. There will be a global population of 9 Billion by 2050 – currently (2013) we are over 7 Billion.

2. Unemployment – Globally there will always be a degree of exponential population increase.

3. The prospect is famine or feed.
