A new project to get local people to reuse their plastic carrier bags and grow their own greens has been launched by the Rochdale Bangladeshi Partnership Project in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Rochdale.
The Grow in a Bag project is an initiative led by the Rotarian David Acton, he has been working on the concept for the last 12 months​ and has visited Bangladesh in March 2013 in partnership with RBPP, for more details visit the Grow-in a bag project page!
The RBPP foster & exchange mutual understanding between British Bangladeshis and indeed other communities.
We showcase the history, tradition and culture to the people of Rochdale & beyond. We mark national events and days of significance like the independence day.
The RBPP are a Social Enterprise and registered as a Community
Interest Company [CIC].
Currently working on a Young people's heritage project.
The RBPP launched a radio programme on the 11th April 2012 on Crescent Community Radio entitled "Boishakhi Bangla Radio Show"
